Database for Polish scientific journals' copyright and Open Access policies - webinar

On the occasion of Open Access Week (October 21-27, 2024), the Gdańsk University of Technology Library invites you to a webinar devoted to the database for Polish scientific journals' copyright and Open Access policies, which will take place on October 23, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
The database is created by the Gdańsk University of Technology Library employees as part of the MOST Wiedzy platform.

The meeting program includes: a presentation of the service, benefits of using the database, method of data collection, practical examples of searching for journals and ongoing activities.

The database provides a coherent framework and guide for all authors by presenting adequate information on where to publish scientific articles and how to make them open to the public. The profile of each Polish journal consists of the most essential information, such as publishing model, journal metrics, type of licence, and self-archiving conditions. All presented data meet the new requirements set out by the most important funding institutions in Poland (e.g. National Science Centre, Ministry of Science and Higher Education).

The webinar aims to familiarize users with the database and promote it among Polish librarians.
Participation in the webinar is free of charge, just use the link on the day of the meeting (23.10.20224 at 10:00): https://link.pg.edu.pl/baza_polityk_wydawniczych
The meeting will be led by Kamila Kokot-Kanikuła on the MS Teams platform.
